The Transition Year students with Ms. Colum and Kay Maguire from Ballinamore Tidy Towns got involved in Community Gardening at St. Felims in Ballinamore. Students tidied up the window boxes and added new compost and new plants to window boxes.

The first year science students transplanted cabbage, spinach, lettuce, onions, carrots and other vegetables that they had grown from seed in the polytunnel.
The Leaving Certificate Agricultural Science students went on a field trip to a local grassland habitat where they examined biotic, abiotic and edaphic factors as part of their agricultural science practical coursework.
