About Ballinamore CS
In 1968 an almost unique system of common enrolment started which resulted in a sharing of teachers and facilities. This has evolved and continued to the present. In 1994 Meanscoil Fatima and St. Felim’s College were amalgamated to form Fatima and Felim’s Secondary School.
In 2001 the Minister for Education and Science announced that an amalgamation of the Vocational School and Secondary Schools would result in a Community School.

Ballinamore Community School aims at helping students develop in the personal, academic, sporting, cultural and spiritual dimensions of their lives. The intention is to help equip our students with the personal and the learning skills, which will assist them in their adult and professional lives.
Mission Statement
Our mission is the provision of a broad, relevant, curriculum for our students, through which they can develop their full potential. We aim to prepare our students to participate as good Christians and as good citizens in society.
