First Year Sports Day

TY Students took part in the IWA TY Wheelchair Basketball Regional Competition in IT Sligo Monday. A great experience for all, with one team making the final, which will be held in April.
First Year students were very productive last Friday, making St Brigid’s Crosses, expertly guided by 5th Year mentors.
Mr Kane facilitated a third year table tennis competition over the past few weeks. Well done to winner, Eoin Connaughton and runner-up Fergal Flynn.
Thank you to PietaHouse who delivered the ‘Resilience Academy’ programme with our 2nd yrs. The extremely valuable programme equips students with emotional resilience tools for the future.
Well done to Eoghan Shanley, Niall O’Shea and Niall Gallagher, who each received a gold medal in the John Paul II awards last week.
Please note that “Lifting the Silence on Suicide”, a community event organised by the HSE in conjunction with community groups is taking place in Sean O’Heslins GAA Club next Monday 9th December.
