Day 1
A cook off took place during lunch time in the Home Ec room where Mr Keeney and Mr Higgins were given some surprise ingredients and both teachers had to make a quick nutritious meal. Thank you to our sous chef’s Rose Gannon & Hannah Morgan who assisted the head chefs in action, to our judges Ms Mannion, Mr Duignan & 3rd yrs Ella Adams & Chloe Maguire. It was a tough decision in choosing the winner.

Seniors also had a great talk from Tony O’Reilly who delivered a gambling addiction workshop today. The workshop was centred around Tony’s lived experience of a severe gambling addiction that spanned nearly a decade. It was a highly interactive workshop and such an important conversation shedding light on the dangers of gambling in modern Irish society.
