Congrats to our Senior Girls team on a great victory in the Connacht Senior D Shield Semi final Vs St Joseph’s Charlestown today 26/03/26 in St Croan’s, Roscommon.
Wearing our new jerseys, kindly sponsored by Lidl for participation in the Lidl School Programme, our girls went behind by 6 points on 2 occasions throughout the match but fought back on both occasions, to eventually win by 3 points. Ballinamore CS scored a penalty and St Joseph’s were unlucky with their penalty and Ballinamore CS held on for a narrow victory against a very strong Charlestown team.
Commiserations to St Joseph’s and well done to our girls on a great victory. We now await word of opponents in the Connacht final.
