School Variety Concert

Our School Variety Concert made a welcome return again this Christmas, on December 15th and 16th in the fabulously refurbished Island theatre. It’s been 5 years since our last concert, and the students and staff made a massive effort to make this year’s shows a reality.

We had almost 700 audience members watch three different shows with over 200 performers. A great success.

Massive thanks to all the staff and students who took part in any way; to the Island Theatre for hosting the shows, and to all our wonderful local sponsors who sponsored so many very generous spot prizes for the raffles.

Stand Up Week

Stand Up Awareness Week is a time for second-level schools in Ireland to join us and take a stand against homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying. As a school community, we show solidarity with our LGBTI+ friends and family.

School Concert 2015

Last Thursday 10th and Friday 11th of December, Ballinamore Community School hosted their bi annual school Christmas Concert. A huge array of entertainment was on show with over 270 students performances. The School Concert is a truly wonderful  event with input emerging from the whole school in all areas of the show including performing, directing, music, producing, props, costume, art design, back stage and make up to name just a few.

A massive thank you to all the students, staff, parents and friends who worked hard over the last number of weeks to get the concert to stage.

The money raised will help fund the cost of extra curricular activities for the students of Ballinamore Community School.
