The aim of the Green Schools Programme is to promote and acknowledge long-term, whole school action for the environment. We have achieved 7 Green School Flags and are currently working towards our 8th Green Schools Flag under the theme Global Citizenship Marine. The collective efforts made by students, staff as well as the links made with the wider community of Ballinamore resulted in BCS being awarded National Winners for both the Global Citizenship Litter and Global Citizenship Energy themes.
