TY Students were busy throughout the year assisting our school Chaplain MS Madden organise various religious events and celebrations, these included: Catholic Schools Week, The Christmas Tree, Our Tree of Remembrance, The Christmas Crib and The Christmas Wreath -just to mention a few.
22nd April saw our TY Students and Mrs Earley visit Dail Eireann and Alliance Francaise. During their visit to Alliance Francaise they participated in French language and Culture workshops. Afterwards when they visited The Dail they got to sit in the public gallery during Dail proceedings and met many of our local representatives.
During March and April our Transition Year Students visited the Rehab Centre where they played sports and assisted in arts and crafts. The Service Users visited the school on the 21st of April during which the students organised sports events and a guided tour of the school. we would like to thanks all those involved especially the Service Users of the Rehab Centre
Our TY students took part in a eco-recycling completion organised by Leitrim County Council. this involved designing and creating an item made from recycling materials.

The TY Students travelled to Drumshanbo on the 16th April for an event organised by Leitrim CoCo. on the day students took part in various workshops on Animal Care, Road Safety, Healthy Living and Fire Safety.
The Transition Year students with Ms. Colum and Kay Maguire from Ballinamore Tidy Towns carried out some community gardening at St. Felims. The students removed the weeds from the window boxes and refilled them with compost. They also tidied up the garden area.
