Ballinamore Community School was founded in 2013, an amalgamation of a diocesan school, Fatima & Felims Secondary School and Ballinamore Vocational School. This school follows in the tradition of its predecessors, priding itself on being
to the forefront of educational developments and together with our education partners, providing a setting where students can thrive to be the best version of themselves.
Our mission in Ballinamore Community School is the provision of a broad, relevant, curriculum for our students, through which they can develop their full potential.
We adopt a formative approach which encourages students to be critical thinkers and take ownership of their learning in a kind and respectful environment. The Board of Management, Teachers, Student Advocates, together with parents and guardians dedicate themselves to student welfare, both inside and outside the classroom. I believe that the values we instil stand to our students for the rest of their lives, enabling them to enhance communities at home and abroad.
