TYs really enjoyed a bread making workshop with Dimitar from ‘My Strandhill Bakery’ on Tuesday 26th September. They learned the science of yeast in bread making, the process of fermentation, proving and plaiting bread. All the students got to make their own loaf and sampled it with the blackberry and apple jam that they made in another of their home economics classes.
