Last Friday we attended an awards ceremony in Farmleigh House, Dublin. We were one of forty-two schools in the country to achieve this prestigious award from
Cycle Against Suicide.
The award was granted to us in recognition of all the work we did last year to promote positive mental health in our school community and to help to get across the message:
It’s ok Not to feel ok; and it’s absolutely ok to ask for help
Three members of our Student Council received the award on behalf of our school. On stage they had an opportunity to share some memories with Jim Breen, founder of CAS and to meet celebrities like Caitriona McKiernan and Grace Murray, an Irish soccer player.
