First years made their own pizza dough this week in class with lots of delicious toppings.
Our TYs enjoyed the pizza bases kindly supplied by Pizza da Piero (they had entered a pizza competition and came runner’s up in the comp so we received a box of Pizza da Piero bases). 3rd and 5th yrs got to make pizzas using the bases in their classes also.
Our Italian students gave a demonstration to the class today on how to make a traditional carbonara and everyone enjoyed some ice lollies in the sunshine for dessert afterwards.
