T.Y students travelled to the Sligo Park Hotel on Thursday 1st May to engage with the exhibition and meet other T.Y students from Leitrim, Sligo, Mayo and Donegal.
The exhibition of School Projects involved our students assembling a display to reflect the work they did on this project .
(They had worked on three different projects over the T.Y year. They held a Social Awareness Week in December, had a Food Collection for SVP and participated in a befriending programme with Rehab Care in Ballinamore)
Over the course of the day other participants came and viewed their stand. They listened to other presentations and had a chance to give a six minute presentation, to all gathered, about the work they did for the project. As the four students began their presentation, they decided to do things a little differently… No one expected them to drop to the ground and feed their presentation through a pre-recorded video display! (It was well received by the audience).
