We celebrated Wellbeing Week in the school.
First Year students made up healthy eating boxes using recycled containers with peas, sweetcorn, onions, lettuce, mustard, radish and sunflower…we look forward to eating our healthy eating box after Easter. TY students enjoyed a trip to Croke Park and there was a badminton competition for 2nd and 3rd years.
There was a Cook Off between Mr McCaffrey & Mr Duignan. They completed a Curry Cook Off assisted by Tiegan & Rose and thank you to our judging team of 1st yr students who crowned Mr McCaffrey winner for his Chinese style curry.
Staff & Students enjoyed some healthy snacks during the week. Students got lots of opportunities to increase their fruit & veg intake through various cookery classes with vegetable soup & stirfrys and an Acai Bowl Competition. The winners received vouchers for Square Coffee. 2nd years enjoyed some Mandala Coaster Colouring at lunch during the week. A fantastic week with some activities postponed due to weather unfortunately.
