On Monday 25th Nov all 3rd yrs. were invited to participate in a full day of Retreat.
The day was facilitated by Direction For Our Time in the Kilmore Pastoral Centre. Students were given an opportunity to leave school for a day and step-back and consider their relationship with God.
Throughout the day they engaged with workshops and discussions on prayer, their gifts and talents and how it is ok not to be perfect. Some of the facilitators provided their own faith testimonies. Games were also integrated into the day, allowing students to consider why we need to work together and trust each other. Towards the end of the day there was even a little dancing form our students! The day was concluded with adoration and prayer in the Chapel. During this students had a chance for quiet time and prayer.
Overall a Retreat for our 3rd yrs.
