On friday 18th May the fifth year students at St. Felims planted window boxes for outside the school. They used geranium plants that they kept in the laboratory from last year and also the geranium plants that they had propagated in class. Some of the window boxes still had ivy and pansies from last year and these were re-used. Students planted some new plants in each of the window boxes such as trailling petunias and marigolds which will add to the biodiversity and attract more insects. Kay Maguire from Ballinamore Tidy towns also came along to look at the excellent work that the students were carrying out.
