Huge thank you to Mairead O’Shea, Communications Manager for SHE – See Her Elected and Cllr Roisin Kenny who spoke to our TY students on Monday for their Global Citizenship Class. The SHE workshop was so interesting and informative around raising awareness on gender inequality in politics. Students were really engaged and had a great discussion with Cllr Roisin Kenny on issues that matter to young people. The class plans to do some further action in school encouraging other students that are eligible to pre register for voting to do so.
