Today’s debate between Ballinamore Community School and Merlin College Galway went very well. Ballinamore did a fantastic job in opposing the motion: Boycotting is the most effective way to end fast fashion. All points were well-delivered, and many rebuttals were made. The team is certainly growing in confidence and honing their public speaking skills. Well done all. Our previous debate against Monaghan Collegiate School resulted in a draw. The result of today’s debate will be known next week. Well done, everyone, keep up the great work!
