TYs had their final outing today for the Better Together/Níos Fearr Le Chéile project with students from Enniskillen Royal Grammar School. A guided tour of the GPO, followed by a visit to EPIC Emigration Museum. A really enjoyable educational trip. As this year long project draws to a close, we would like to thank all the participating students from ERGS and their mentor Ms Davis for always making us feel welcome on our numerous visits to their school. We would also like to thank project facilitator Darragh Slacke, who helped the students express themselves through art and music as they explored culture and identity on our shared island through the different lenses of Past, Present and Future. Thanks also to programme Coordinator, Michael Mullin and all at Ballinamore Area Community Council, who devised and funded the project. It has been a really worthwhile experience for our TY students.
