As part of the Better Together/Níos Fearr Le Chéile Project, the TYs travelled to Belfast with their counterparts from ERGS in Enniskillen. A highly informative trip, the group got to visit Stormont and learn about the political system there as well as the history of the building. After a brief stop in McDonalds, the students went on a guided tour of the interface region around the peace walls on the Falls and Shankill road. The guides, who had first-hand experience of the troubles gave a great insight into the horrors of that time as well as the ongoing issues in the area.
