We had a jam packed week of activities across different subjects for SDG Week. Thanks to the various subject departments for creating awareness and actions around the goals, to the social justice reps and Ms Reynolds for organising the water pledge with all the 1st years, to the student groups who attended the webinar organised by Leitrim County Council with author Oisin McCann on approaching action around climate issues, to Ms Morrow for the lovely treats at the staff event ‘Cuppa 4 Climate’, Ms Column for arranging the TY biodiversity workshop on Thursday faciltated by Annette Corkery from the Heritage Council EducationForum, Mr Mullen for his work with 2C CSPE water walk along the Greenway, Ms Stenson for giving a really informative presentation on her volunteering experience in Uganda this summer and to Ms Cooney for the planning and coordinating of the themed week as part of our GCE programme.
