Well done to our TY Debate Team who took part today in Round 1 of the Concern Debates Competition. 
Niamh Christy, Kealan Gannon, Dearbhla Gunn, Riain McManus, Lucy Murphy and Mark Ahern argued their points well as opposition to the motion – GMOs are necessary in the fight against world hunger.
A huge thank you to opposition St Aidan’s Comprehensive School in Cavan. It was a great experience for our students to develop their analytical and public speaking skills. Well done to the students and their mentor Mr Keaney. Best of luck in Round 2!
