For Bike Week 2021, our TY Group received a bike maintenance workshop from Tadhg Moran on Monday from Moran’s cycles in Drumshanbo. This was a very informative workshop, and students were given the opportunity to emake sure  their bikes were roadworthy for the next day’s cycle.

On Tuesday morning, the group set off for Poll an Easa in Aughnasheelin, following the back roads to make sure there was as little disruption to traffic as possible. Massive thanks to the local Gardai, who drove ahead of us and made sure that our trip was as safe as possible. Following a short break to have a quick snack and enjoy the scenery, we were back on our bikes to school.

To finish our Bike Week event, we had slow bike races at the school, with winners receiving boxes of chocolates.
